The learn to row sessions went really well with a dozen girls hitting the water on Saturday and Sunday.
"The girls are going great!, a few balance issues from time to time but to describe the session... their on a ROLL!" Guest Coach Gordon Cameron said.
Nations represented included the USA, Canada, Germany, Ireland and of course Australia!
Honorable mention to Rhi and Sarah from Griffith Nathan Campus who drove down to have a crack.
"We thought that Griffith has to have a rowing club so we googled it and found out about your beginners session" Rhi said.
A great effort by Maddy and Jane who rowed for the first time and did really well.
Holding up the gents end are the talents of Haak and Ash, identical twin boys.
"We are really keen to get a guys 8 together" Ash said.
