Learn to Row

Learn to Row for Griffith University Students

Learning to row is a great traditional university activity. Infact rowing is the oldest recorded form of intervarsity sport dating back to the 1820s. It a great way to way to get fit and meet people and the GURC is the best university club when it comes to both.

GURC aims to encourage rowing excellence in Griffith University students and the wider youth of the Gold Coast. We have make it our job to provide development pathways for everyone, including those whom have never sat in a row boat.

Our learn to row program is for people with no rowing experience and for those with a bit of experience looking to brush up on their technique. All you need is a smile, completed SPRC membership forms and affiliated monies and most importantly, be prepared for an oarsome time!
